Detail: Today, classical Yagyu Jujutsu is still a complete martial system, using weaponry, grappling, and striking. At the Martial Science Center, home of the Sui Shin Kan Dojo, we examine martial movement to see applications in grappling, percussion, and weaponry. With this approach, the student is able to build a deep and broad understanding of martial practice. We train using appropriate escalation of force needed to deal effectively with a situation; though we train with great respect for our fellow practitioners, we don't lose sight that our training is ultimately about survival. Come in for a free intro class!
