Comment: | I can't even begin to explain just how sleazy this place is. They preach respect, self-esteem and kindness to others. Laughable as this is just the opposite of what you get. So we sign up for classes and were verbally told we could end the class at any time. At no point were we ever told that after 30 days you are locked into 12 months of payments. Now Mr. Flee promised me he would attach the contract we signed to every bad review I leave after accusing me of being a bully. And that's great. In fact, Mr. Flee just told us over the phone this isn't the first time this has happened. We absolutely signed the contract and if he posts it you will see first hand how the wording might be confusing to someone who was told just before he signed it that we could cancel at any time and at no point were we ever told that after 30 days we would be locked in to an entire year. Their sales tactic is basically that you start with the basic class for a 30 day trial period and if they think your kid has what it takes they will move on to leadership classes. At no point were we told this would come at an additional cost and thank goodness we didn't sign that. We would have been forced to pay for 36 months!! What if we had moved?! It's insanity. What is even more aggravating is They are not upfront about the costs at all. Ira was signed up for over 30 days when we had our meeting with Mr. Flee. He informed us that the "Leadership" classes would cost quite a bit more money than the basic classes Ira was signed up for on top of over $400 for a bag and "weapons". This is why we ended up wanting to pull out. We were told at the beginning all about the leadership program and how Ira would get to use weapons. He was so excited. At no point did they ever mention additional costs. Basically, it was sold to us that the initial 200 bucks per month is what we would be paying period. And what is most galling, we were suppose to have a meeting within 3 weeks with them which means had we had that meeting we would have cancelled in time. They cancelled this meeting and the next meeting was setup beyond the 30 days so we were conveniently locked into 12 months of $200 payments. Just stay away. I am certain there are way better places out there in GR. |
