Detail: ProKarate Rockford was started in 1999 as a satellite program of the original Professional Karate School owned and operated by Shihan Brian Lentz in Wyoming, Michigan. For the first 7 years of operation, classes were held at Champion Fitness in Rockford. In 2006, Sensei Wendy Redding determined the time was right to move the school to downtown Rockford in the space above Glik's Department Store. Since the move, ProKarate Rockford has continued to grow and in late 2010, additional space was renovated to support the addition of the Fitness and Peace Warriors programs. At ProKarate Rockford we take a modern approach to a very traditional Martial Art, stressing physical and mental strength, character development and integrity.
