Detail: Lightning Kicks opened in June 2001 under the leadership and guidance of Master Amir Khillah. We have grown into a successful community providing comprehensive training programs in Taekwondo, Hapkido, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) and offer community self-defense seminars. Lightning Kicks is more than a martial arts school and training facility; we are a family. Our dedicated students and passionate instructors work and train at a high level. We learn from one another in the process. Our programs prepare students for life, both on and off of the training floor, not only by promoting improved confidence, leadership skills, self-esteem and focus, but also through improvements in muscle tone, power, endurance and cardiovascular fitness. The five bedrocks of our teaching philosophy are Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-control, and Indomitable Spirit. Each student and instructor is expected to live by this simple but effective
