Detail: Sunflower Soccer began in 1983 with a handful of teams. Today SSA has participants from age 4 through 14 playing on 170 teams. Sunflower Soccer boasts 11 fullsize fields that may be split into smaller fields. The complex is located in the Kansas River floodplain off of US Hwy 75 and Lower Silver Lake/NW 17th St. Great care is given to the fields and it is often heard that they are "some of the best in Northeast Kansas.The mission of Sunflower Soccer Association is to provide recreational and competitive soccer opportunities for the youth of Topeka and the surrounding
