Detail: The NW Kickers Soccer Club may well be Minnesota's oldest soccer club. In 1955 the Kickers helped form a two team men's soccer league in Minneapolis, and the rest is history. The Kickers later moved into Brooklyn Park, added youth soccer, and changed the name to the NorthWest Kickers. Since that time, the Kickers have provided high quality, affordable, youth soccer to players in the NW suburbs of Minneapolis. Based in Brooklyn Park, we continue that mission today. The majority of our players live in Brooklyn Park, Osseo, Champlin, Maple Grove, and Brooklyn Center. Players from other surrounding cities and clubs also participate and are welcome. The Kickers offer soccer training for players ages 5-19, with age and skill appropriate training throughout. Our traveling program provides extensive professional training for all our teams. As an all volunteer organization, we are able to provide our soccer program at a very low cost. We are among the least expensive in the area, and the metro, but we offer training that is second to none in terms of quality and quantity. We are community focused, serving the youth in our area.
