Detail: The Northwest Indiana United program began about 1986 as part of Northwest Indiana Soccer Association (NWISA) with teams reporting directly to the league board of directors. In 1997 the Northwest Indiana Futbol Club (NWI United FC) was formed to better organize the "United" program. This was done with the blessings and support of the NWISA but the United Club was no longer a part of the NWISA. It is our goal to provide the best development and training for the soccer players of Northwest Indiana. It is the mission of NWI United FC to develop and promote premiere youth soccer throughout Northwest Indiana. Furthermore, it is the aim of the Youth and Senior Program to help develop and prepare our membership to become successful high school soccer players as they transition through micro-soccer of 6 vs 6 and 8 vs 8 to the full sided game. Additionally, we provide a maintenance and devleopmental program for our Sr players as the prepare for the upcoming High School season and potiential College career ahead.
