Detail: In early 2012, Davidson County United Soccer Association (DCUSA) and the North Davidson Soccer League (NDSL) announced they were merging to form a new organization — the North Carolina United Soccer Association (NCUSA). The merger allowed the county to field more teams, especially at the higher-caliber Challenge and Classic levels. The merging association gives opportunity for all soccer players in Davidson County to have more opportunities to have a better playing experience from kindergarten all the way to adult. The new association also hopes the merger would provide us a better chance of getting a soccer park in Davidson County. NC United Soccer Mission Statement: To provide a quality environment that promotes proper technical and tactical development at all levels, as well as a proper respect for the game.
