Detail: The Green Bay Lightning (GBL) Soccer Club provides the youth of the greater Green Bay, Wisconsin area an opportunity to enhance and enrich their soccer experience through quality soccer programs, training, coaching, and facilities. Our mission is to develop youth soccer players to the best of their abilities and prepare them to play at the highest level at which an individual player desires to participate, consistent with their playing ability and commitment. The Green Bay Lightning Soccer Club was founded in 1990 by a group of dedicated soccer parents who wanted to give their children an opportunity to play soccer at a higher level. The club has grown and now operates as a non-profit organization managed by a traditional board of directors structure.
