Detail: The Edgemont Soccer Club is a private, not-for-profit, all volunteer organization, managed by residents of Edgemont. The mission of the organization is to provide children with the opportunity to participate in a travel soccer experience where they can develop positive self-esteem and build character by learning the virtues of hard work, respect, honesty, self-control, teamwork and sportsmanship. The Club is responsible for organizing soccer training, creating competitive teams, and participating in the Westchester Youth Soccer League (WYSL) where the teams play against other Westchester, Putnam and New York City soccer clubs.
