Detail: DFAC offers several levels of soccer commitment: Recreational - This is our most popular level of play. It includes all U6 and U8 teams, and most older divisions. There are no tryouts or skill sessions; teams are formed from open registration. Main focus is on fun while learning the sport. Developmental – For players willing to make a more significant commitment than recreational level of play. Teams are usually formed through skill sessions where players of similar skill level can learn from each other. There are typically 2 practices each week, all teams play in the Arizona Youth Soccer Association (AYSA), usually 3 or more weekends dedicated to tournaments, teams may or may not use a trainer, and there are some additional fees for training and tournaments depending on the coach and team. Competitive - This is our highest level of play for U11 teams and older. Typically, there will be only one team per division (when available). All teams play in the Arizona Youth Soccer Association (AYSA).
