Detail: Des Moines Menace has been Iowa’s premier soccer team since 1994. With the support of a passionate and loyal following, Menace Soccer is committed to providing fans with fun, family-friendly entertainment – the state's highest level of men's AND women's soccer. Through its youth programs, the Menace organization continues to grow the game of soccer in the central Iowa community. The Menace Soccer Foundation, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, encourages the interest and participation of youth soccer. The foundation consists of the Junior Menace, Youth Academy, youth tournaments and camps and clinics. For beginners ages 3-9, the Junior Menace develops the fundamental skills and love of soccer. A higher level of competition is found in the Menace Youth Academy, which is a select year-round program that focuses on improving players ages 10 and up in a fun and challenging environment. The Menace also hosts four annual youth tournaments for boys and girls, U11-U18, as well as various camps and clinics to provide even more opportunities for soccer athletes to improve their skills throughout the soccer season.
