Detail: Chula Vista Youth Soccer Club was Founded in 1982 by Jim Loughney as the Chula Vista Scorpions later to be known as Chula Vista United and then under Armando Saenz took on the name Chula Vista Pumas. We are a non-profit youth soccer club serving the South Bay for 30 years. We offer boys and girls the chance to develop physically and socially through the sport of soccer. Our coaching staff is registered through the United States Youth Soccer Association, Calsouth, Presidio Soccer League and Coast Soccer League. We offer quality coaching and affordable registration fees. All of us at Chula Vista Premier FC coach for the love of the game of soccer and for our kids to have a chance to play it. We look to build long term relationships between team mates, coach and parents. Our most important objectives are to build healthy attitudes about winning and losing, the pursuit of personal goals, the promotion of teamwork and the desire to have fun. We work to attract, develop and retain dedicated youth soccer players and their families. Pumas players and their families are committed to advancing skill and personal growth learned through participation in competitive soccer. We want to train every player on the team equally and address the desire to play at a middle school, high school, college or higher level by exposing players to the various demands of the game and all its unpredictable situations. Player and parent commitment goes beyond just showing up for a game. It involves striving for excellence as an extended family, a loyal PUMAS family!
