Introduction:	Kid Zone is an after-school child care program for Lyons Elementary School students. The program is available during school days and is not in session if school is canceled due to inclement weather. Kid Zone is not offered on holidays or vacation days during the school year. The purpose of Kid Zone is to offer quality child care within the school community. The program provides a safe, structured and positive environment that allows children to be creative,sociable and happy. An important goal of the program is to make each child feel important. Kid Zone is licensed according to regulations for Children's Centers issued by the Department of Human Services, State of Colorado. The staff members are qualified and certified according to the State Licensing Regulations.
