Introduction:	Woodland Elementary, home of the Wildcats, takes its name from the area originally settled by the Wood family. <br/>Opened in 1981, Woodland houses kindergarten through grade six. <br/>Enrollment averages 530 students and is served by approximately 70 dedicated staff members. Students may arrive on school grounds at 8:25 a.m. unless they are eating breakfast which begins service at 8:15 a.m. Upon arrival at school, students are to line up outside their classroom door and wait for the first bell to ring at 8:40 a.m. The teachers will then let them into the classroom and start instruction at 8:45 a.m.
