Introduction:	The Club reopened its doors in 2004 to serve youngsters between the ages of 7 to 17 in Flint and the surrounding areas. Open after school, in the summer and for occasional weekend events, the Club offers many positive and fun programs to its over 1,800 members. The Club serves around 300 kids per day after school and up to 500 per day in the summer. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Flint gives children an opportunity to elevate themselves in the community. The building-centered effort provides a safe haven for children. Programs are designed to benefit children socially, physically, economically and educationally, building a foundation for future successes personally, and leading to a positive future for Flint and Genesee County.
