Introduction:	Kids Klub first started offering before and after school care in 1987, in response to the needs of the community. At that time we offered care at one site for 10 children. The program has grown significantly over the years. We now offer before and after school care at Brentwood and Forest View elementary schools as well as at RecPlex. Each school day more than 150 children participate in either Kids Klub or KinderKlub. The program is designed with the child in mind. During the morning hours we allow the children an opportunity to wake up and play games, participate in special theme days and best of all socialize with their peers. The afternoon program offers a snack, structured play, homework time and more time for peer socialization. Working with School District 59, we offer a 3 or 5-day program for the first through fifth graders from Devonshire, Robert Frost, Brentwood, Forest View and John Jay elementary schools only. We also offer discounts for multiple children in the program. Our before and after school day care program is an affordable option for working parents and a stimulating environment for children.
