Detail: The New Morning Before and After School Programs offer safe, enjoyable activities for your child. We are located right at the Auburn Village School. Our Before School Program starts at 7 am in the multipurpose room. You must walk your child into the gym and sign him or her in on their ticket. Your child can attend the morning program with no prior notice (except completed registration form) and we will provide a variety of indoor activities. At the right time, with all personal belongings in tow, we’ll send your child to his or her classroom or outside to the playground to join friends coming off the buses. Your child will be dismissed to the After School Program meeting place at the end of the school day, and “check-in” on his or her individual attendance form. As soon as all the children are accounted for, we make a beeline for the playground to run off some of that energy! We come back inside to enjoy a snack and then begin afternoon activities. Each day we offer craft activities, games such as Monopoly, checkers, Othello, and Guess Who and quiet individual activities such as Legos, blocks, puzzles, magazines and an occasional video for a rainy day treat. There is a “quiet time” each day set aside for homework or table games for those who don’t have an assignment. Of course, the large gym area is available for indoor fun and games.
