Detail: The primary goal of St. John's Preschool & Daycare is to provide for each child an atmosphere of warmth and care, as an extension of that given by the child's own family. Within this atmosphere, our goals are that each child: Will come to realize their own importance and capacities as individuals. Will be provided with learning activities appropriate for his or her age. These activities will include: Socialization skills, with peers and adults. Large-fine motor skills (fine and gross motor development). Appreciation of fine arts. Cognitive skills. Learn and grow through their curiosity, exploration, and various learning activities appropriate for each age. Be provided with nutritious, well-balanced snacks and meals. Will have a safe area, free from physical hazards and contagious illness as possible, in which to thrive and grow. Our goal is to function as a parent support system, which provides a viable link between the working parent and child.
