Detail: The Louisville Area Y invites you to visit us soon and become part of our Y family. At the Louisville Area YMCA all our programs contain elements promoting the six character pillars of Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship. Our goals revolve around building Healthy Lifestyles, Youth Development and Social Responsibility. Everyone is welcome at the YMCA! Just a few of the great programs coming up this Spring and Summer are the YMCA Baseball/Softball Program in which over 400 local youngsters participated in last year; the 10K/2 Mile Fun Run on June 11 at Metzger Park; and Summer Day Camp providing fun-filled, safe childcare for our youth. In addition there is the outstanding Wellness Center, 6 lane 25 meter pool, gym, gymnastic area, Aerobic/Teen/Family room. Preschoolers, youth, teens, adults, families, seniors all stay healthy, active and happy in the YMCA's positive friendly atmosphere.
