Detail: The Holmes Elementary School Bright Futures program is a safe, creative, and engaging after school program that serves second, third, fourth, and fifth grade students. Bright Futures offers homework help, recreational club time, and academic enrichment activities, tailored to meet the specific needs of its participants and community. In Bright Futures we know how important academic achievement is and we teach our students to prioritize homework, for which we provide support daily. But we also encourage our kids to explore their interests by joining clubs. At Holmes we offer a wide variety of activities and clubs designed to encourage students to try new things and gain experience in a safe and fun environment. We are excited to offer clubs including arts & crafts, sports & games, Lego building with Bricks 4 Kidz, mad science, leadership, cooking, Crosstown Theatre, and film making – just to name a few! All of the clubs combine fun with academic enrichment. We encourage respect and responsibility within our community while growing together through emotional, academic, and social development. Bright Futures also understands the significance of involving families and school staff in our program, which is why we host family events every few months to celebrate and enjoy the community that we have built together. Bright Futures at Holmes runs Monday through Thursday from 3:20 p.m. to 6:25 p.m. during the school year. Our 4-week summer program runs Monday through Thursday during July.
