Detail: We understand how difficult it is for parents to meet the demanding schedule required for work, leisure, and children. The last thing that a parent needs to be concerned about during the work day is whether or not the children are being cared for safely and lovingly before and after school. The Cradle Inn Daycare Before and After School Program is designed to offer quality, affordable care in a safe and worry free environment - for those children that are in the public school system that require care just before and just after their school day. The program is offered for children in half day Kindergarten, and grades one through 6. It is the responsibility of the parents to provide transportation to Cradle Inn in the morning and after school. For those children arriving by bus, there will be a teacher from the daycare to meet them and escort them to their respective areas. Those children attending the program will receive a nourishing and healthy breakfast that follows USDA guidelines prior to departing the Daycare for school. For the children who attend half day school, there will be a full lunch provided and all children will receive an afternoon snack to get them through until dinner time. During program hours, the children will have the opportunity to complete their homework, play games, and spend time out of doors. During school vacations, there will be structured events planned that will include art projects, music, games, and of course, outside activities. The before and after school program is available during school vacations, holidays, snow days, and in service days. Weekly tuition covers before and after school care when school is in session and full time care during school vacations, in service days, and snow days. Weekly tuition remains the same whether school is in session or on vacation. The daily program ends each day at normal closing time for the Center (5:30 PM) and all children must be in the care of their parents at that time.
