With over 37 years experience, 9th degree black belt, Hanshi Dan Kennedy leads the school with highly knowledgeable and skilled instruction along with a staff of highly talented black belt instructors. The Lenexa Karate Academy maintains an attitude of excellence in all aspects of the organization - from office procedures, to quality instruction, to a clean and sanitary facility, we strive to make sure that every aspect of the dojo is maintained at the highest professional standards. Traditional Okinawan karate is the core martial art taught at the Lenexa Karate Academy and we also offer Jujitsu, Kobujitsu (weapons), and Cardio Kickboxing - all of which make for a well-rounded and fit martial artist. MOST IMPORTANTLY we emphasize techniques that work in the real world.
