Details:	Primero is a first class academy developing first class students. Our goal is to ensure that our students learn effective and proven self defense skills, taught by qualified instructors, in a safe and positive environment. Everyone is welcome. We offer programs for men, women and children as well as seminars and private lessons. Our curriculum focuses on all aspects of Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and American Wrestling, from throws and takedowns to ground work and submissions. Primero is a progressive family oriented academy that promotes traditional martial arts values; family, attitude, respect, discipline, honor and loyalty. Primero is a proud member of the Gracie Jiu Jitsu Association and the Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association. Pedro Sauer is a certified 8th Degree Red/Black Belt Instructor under Rickson Gracie. The Jiu Jitsu curriculum is overseen by Black Belt Head Instructors; Richard Bueno & Brian Ogule. We are Tucson's First Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy with Two Senior Black Belt Instructors. Primero also offers Wrestling and is a proud member of USA Wrestling. The Wrestling curriculum is overseen by Senior Instructor and former collegiate wrestling coach; Joe Solorio. Our method of instruction provides a common sense approach to self defense while providing a fun, safe and invigorating environment. Primero integrates beginners into ongoing classes with advanced students. Newcomers learn not only from the instructor, but also from more experienced students. Advanced students, in turn, gain valuable insight by helping new students progress, thus providing a wider pool of technical knowledge, wisdom and insight. Primero also offers Capoeira Classes for both Kids and Adults that are taught by world renowned instructor; Espirro Mirim Primero specializes in the physical and mental development of people of all ages.
