Details:	Located in South Lake Tahoe, California, Blue Lake Aikido is a 501.c.3 Non-Profit organization dedicated to teaching Aikido and related arts. Blue Lake Aikido strives to spread the physical and philosophical teachings of the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba. He believed, and the owners of Blue Lake Aikido believe, that world peace will come about when violence is eliminated. By chosing active non-violence and self-responsibility, students of Blue Lake Aikido will become part of this vision of world peace. We strive together to bring love and light into the world. The Mission of the Blue Lake Aikido Dojo is to create a large community of self-responsible children and adults committed to the practice of Aikido as the Budo that Morihei Ueshiba O'Sensei envisioned for the world. By following the path of Budo, "the path that leads to the end of fighting," we will enrich ourselves and the South Lake Tahoe community physically, mentally, and spiritually, while simultaneously working to bring about world peace and unity.
