Since 2000 United TaeKwonDo Academy has been teaching the tenets of; Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, and Indomitable Spirit to our students in the Anchorage community. Under the tutelage of 6th Dan, Grand Master Dure Chang we have been providing quality instruction to children, teens, and adults of all ages and abilities, and striving to develop the strong moral character needed to make leaders of tomorrow. The United TaeKwonDo Mission Statement: Our Academyâ€™s primary mission is dedication to health, longevity and strength. We, as a team, strive for the following; To listen and understand the wants and needs of our students and famlies and to address those wants and needs specifically. To continually educate and train ourselves and update our skills in communication and instruction to maintain our commitment to excellence. To educate and train our students and famlies so that they are empowered to protect themselves and maintain optimal health. To maintain an environment that gives each individual the opportunity to pursue and acheive a greater level of personal success and freedom. At United TaeKwonDo Academy we expect parent involvement and as such have a Parentâ€™s Mission Statement that states: I intend to support the development of all students in a positive manner, and to avoid anything that would detract from their desire and ability to succeed. I intend to be actively involved in my childâ€™s growth in order to bring out their full potential thus fostering a more positive relationship. I will make my participation confident and creative, directing efforts toward the school goal, which is Black Belt Excellence.
