Details:	Guangxi Martial Arts â€“ Tyrrell Academy is where children, youth/teens, and adults can learn contemporary and traditional Martial Arts. We offer diverse, comprehensive training in concepts from a variety of Martial Arts systems and styles. At Guangxi, people are challenged to expand their limits in a supportive environment. Our Mission The martial arts practices that transformed warriors in the past are available to all who wish to become stronger, more effective and more fulfilled individuals. Our mission is to guide each individual to reach his or her full mental and physical potential. Our Expertise We have many years of training, coaching, and teaching in a variety of Martial Arts systems and styles. Jointly, we have won numerous competitions and have taught worldwide. We further our education on a continuing basis to offer a fresh and exciting curriculum. Our Origin All members of the Tyrrell-Gaskell family initially studied the American Mixed Martial Art known as Kajukenbo Self-Defense and are Kajukenbo Self-Defense black belt instructors. â€œGuangxiâ€ (pronounced â€œGwon-Zheeâ€) means â€œBroad Expansive Westâ€ and is the southernmost autonomous region in the Peopleâ€™s Republic of China where Master Dan Tyrrell studied Tai Chi, Wushu, and other Chinese martial arts styles. After Danâ€™s return to the U.S., the family has continued to branch out, explore and incorporate concepts and principles from other disciplines into the curriculum offered at Guangxi.
