This program consists of classes provide children ages three to six the opportunity to learn martial arts in a structured environment. They will focus on listening, following directions, taking turns, and waiting in line all while doing fun martial arts techniques! While learning these fundamental social skills they will also be working on their TaeKwonDo fundamentals of kicking, punching, rolling and jumping. These activities are combined in way to make it all fun for the kids!

Junior Classes

Children ages seven to eleven can have a hard time in many martial arts classes. They are older than Little Tigers and are ready to start training on the more advanced forms of martial arts, such as poomse. However they would have time training with adults due the the size difference -- especially when working with Hapkido. UKMA offers a special program for juniors giving fun classes with kids their age. In these classes, students will learn the more advanced techniques while still having fun in class. These classes are not all fun and games, and students will be required to show the master instructor their school report card -- as UKMA Juniors classes require passing school grades to attend. Additionally, UKMA Juniors have discussions on how to deal with real-world problems, such as bulling in school.
