Stingers Soccer Club has been serving the Jeffco Mountain areas of Evergreen, Conifer, Morrison, Kittredge, Bailey and Pine since 1979. Stingers welcomes all ages and levels of youth soccer players! As a 501(c)3 non-profit we maintain a mission to maximize community participation and so we provide programs to accommodate many levels of play. In addition to our Developmental, Recreational, and Competitive (Select) programs, Stingers offers continuous soccer opportunities including after-school programs, specialized skill camps, advanced academy training and summer programs. The club employs a full-time General Manager and one full-time Director of Coaching, each managing a division of our program. With this approach, we ensure that all players, not just the most developed, get the training they deserve. Our philosophy at Stingers includes the following: Our role is to provide pathways to play soccer for all levels of players; Soccer should be fun and learning will occur in that context; The game is the teacher – let them play; Soccer, unlike many other sports, is NOT coach-centric. Players must develop their own ability to make decisions on the field of play.
