Details:	Prodigy Youth Soccer Association (PYSA) was established in 1998, by Colby Williams. Colby is an experienced professional, college, and club soccer player and holds a USSF National B License. He has been coaching children for the past 14 years in Topeka. Prodigy was formed to bring positive, professional soccer instruction to youth players in Topeka. Our time is spent making our players and teams the best that they can be while providing a positive, yet challenging environment. Our goal is for the players to enjoy soccer, learn, and to continue to play and do well in their soccer careers, on and off the field. Although we believe soccer is important, it is just as important for players to gain experience through playing other sports. The majority of our players play and excel in other sports while devoting time to soccer as well. We are very happy with the results that we have had since starting in 1998. We have seen many quality youth players excel later in their soccer career, several ODP players, high school players, collegiate players, and teams which are comprised of a great group of families. Although we have a great tradition of success through doing well in Topeka and other league tournaments, our coaches are more pleased with the results seen in our players on and off the field. We feel that it is important to do well when playing, but representing yourself in a positive way on and off the field is a valuable skill needed in life. Long after all of the tournament championships are forgotten, our players will have the soccer skills needed to do well in their careers and they will be great individuals on and off the field. Our focus is devoted to our players and teams and winning will take care of itself.
