San Soo Tulsa provides students with individualized learning from quality instructors. Our curriculum provides the opportunity to learn and apply effective and efficient lessons and techniques for fun, exercise, competition or for when seconds count in a real-world, self-defense situation. We offer a safe, fun, and family-friendly environment with classes available for all skill and fitness levels. We also offer special classes aimed at getting young people started in this ancient art form. We focus on the application of principles, practices, and techniques necessary for surviving in a hostile, combat situation. San Soo Tulsa relys on the ancient, unchanged combat art of Cho Li Ho Fut Hung introduced by Jimmy H. Woo - the Master who introduced the art to the United States and gave it the name "San Soo." We are entirely self-defense oriented. Our instructors believe the focus should be on the student. By emphasizing the fact that no two situations are alike, our approach to self-defense centers on knowing ones own body and understanding the cause/effect relationship when a body is stressed. You need to be fully aware of what you are stepping into and be ready for the consequences. We focus on the environment you will be fighting in whether a sport competition or more serious situations such as self defense, law enforcement, or combat survival.
