Details:	Doyen Wilson founded WMA more than 16 years ago with the dream of sharing his enthusiasm and dedication to the world of martial arts and fitness with the Glen Cove, New York community. He brings more than 25 years of experience as a highly trained athlete an accomplished instructor to every class and member of WMA. Mr. Wilson spent four years at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado with the worldâ€™s leading coaches and sports scientists between 1988 and 1992. He won gold medals at the US Olympic Festival and the US National Championships, as well as in the Goodwill Games against China, the Soviet Union, Tahiti, and Korea. Mr Wilson was nominated as the best Junior Team coach at the Junior Olympic training camp in Colorado and was selected as a Delegate to the Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. Mr Wilson prides himself on his versatility as a coach. His training expertise spans elite Olympic level athletes to kindergarteners just beginning martial arts studies to pre- and postnatal women and everyone in between. He is an active member of his community and has taught in local high schools, the Glen Cove and Bayville YMCAâ€™s and the Glen Cove Boys and Girls Club. He holds a fourth degree black belt and is a recognized expert in the field of martial arts and has been seen on CNN and has been featured in BlackBelt, Martial Arts Training, and Karate lllustrated magazines.
