Details:
Taekwon-Do is an unarmed martial art that took place over 2000 years ago in Korea and its origins to the present day will be further developed. We train Taekwon-Do in the traditional form, with no contact. This is not to be confused with the Olympics or the modern competitive Taekwondo, which is executed with body contact and whose orientation is a sporting challenge as mental training. The objectives of the traditional Taekwon-Do has changed somewhat over time. While there was a martial art in recent days, Taekwon-Do and its precursor in Korea, which has methods are required for anti-war and therefore passed temporarily only secret, it is now designed to establish the practitioners of a mental and physical balance and to create a healthy balance. Body and mind are challenged by ever new movements and personal challenges as a unit. By the insertion of the whole body in training and performing the exercises on both sides of each one-sidedness is avoided in this way, the entire human being trained and challenged. By stopping short of the techniques of their partner in partner exercises coordination and body awareness will be promoted immensely. The result over time a very high precision in the execution because the Fußkicks and hand techniques must be carefully controlled. The students can, among other things by his creative partner in practice and by working on Hyongs (which are set routines) evolve and develop his personality. His confidence is growing at the same rate as the respect for the teacher and the partner. Of course, you learn at a martial arts attack and defense techniques. Taekwon-Do can also, if necessary, in defense, but is learned primarily for personal development. It may just outside the school to protect themselves in emergency situations or to apply. In summary, one could say: Traditional Taekwon-Do teaches the selective use your own body and builds on it. Self-confidence and self-knowledge as well as take humility and respect for the opponent.
