With locations in Pitman, West Deptford, and Swedesboro, the Okinawa Kenpo Karate Academy is led by Shihan Brian DeGori & Kyoshi Ronnie Dargan. The OKKA has been a part of the Gloucester County community since 1995. Founded on the principles of respect, mental focus, and self-discipline, the dojos (schools) have grown to more than 800 students. The OKKA is a Black Belt school. The organization is assisted by Kioshi Ron Dargan, 7th degree black belt, national and international martial arts champion and International Body Building champion. **Kioshi Dargan owns and operates the West Deptford location. The Swedesboro school is led by Sempai Brian Theurer. He was promoted to Black Belt by Shihan DeGori in 2002 and currently holds the rank of 3rd degree. The Pitman school is led by Sensei's Charles Walker, Ryan Sickles and Amanda Cosgrove. All three instructor have been training with Shihan DeGori for over ten years. Mr. Walker is a retired Chief of Police and holds the rank of Yondan (4th Degree). Mr. Sickles and Ms. Cosgrove have both been traing since they were around the age of five and both hold the rank of Yondan.
