Details:	Sensei Edgardo is the head instructor at Sovereign Martial Arts in Belleville, NJ. Sensei Edgardo has a 3rd Degree Black Belt Shotokan Karate and Kickboxing. He is an accomplish martial arts instructor, competitor and performer winning numerous trophies and awards. Sensei Edgardo leads the SMA Demo Team "No Limits" with a creativity and dedication of a professional leader. His greatest desire is to touch the lives of hundreds in a positive way through the martial arts. He continues to develop personally as he and his wife Ariane (program director) run SMA Belleville, NJ. Under their leadership, SMA Belleville continues to thrive developing their students, instilling great values while improving the students' physical fitness, self-defense and character development. Sovereign Martial Arts Schools are headed by certified professional black belt Instructors. We teach Shotokan Karate, sport karate, kickboxing, MMA and self-defense with the respect and etiquette of true karate. Our system at Sovereign Martial Arts was founded in 1996 by Shihan Jose DiCervo with a vision to expand the martial arts on a wider basis while developing "Champions for Life". The SMA system embraces the best traditions of the old ways and welcomes the vision of the new ways, thus providing "yesterday's karate to today's society". Our SMA curriculum maintains the challenges and vigorous training of the ancient ways while successfully employing the proven methods of today.
