Details:	My name is Richard Tener and I am the owner / operator, and chief instructor of our school here in Asheville, North Carolina. After training in Kung Fu in the early '70's, I have earned my 5th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. I have trained in Taekwondo very actively since 1988. I opened the academy on August 27, 1991. We are under the auspices of the American Taekwondo Foundation and the World Taekwondo Federation. Grandmaster Yun Sung Chung is the president of the ATF. The ATF National Headquarters is in Montgomery, Alabama. Our school serves as regional headquarters of the ATF and I am the Regional Director. In addition to training students in Taekwondo, we provide intensive and extensive instructor training, Several of my students have opened their own schools and clubs. Come in and experience Taekwondo with a FREE Trial offer. It is a great way to get in shape while learning self defense, self discipline and building confidence. We have a variety of male and female students from 4 years old and up. Check our schedule for a time and age group that fits you.
