Details:	Shihan Marc Reyes has been in involved in Martial Arts since the age of 3, and began his training with Sensei Steve Harris, and then with the Founder of Red Dragon Karate. Through his years of training, he was coached by top competitors. In the years that followed he too became a Top Competitor and Seeded Top 10 on the NASKA Circuit in Katas, Weapons, and Sparring. Shihan Reyes has won many Grand Champions, and Grand Reserve titles in National and Regional Competitions. Shihan Reyes won his first National Title at the age of 8 at the Long Beach Internationals held by Ed Parker. Mr. Steve Fisher who is a 7th Degree Black Belt in Shorin-Ryu and the owner of Steve Fisher Karate in Hawthorne CA, has been one of many special instructors who have helped guide and shape him into the man he is today. ï»¿(Mr. Fisher is also a Top 10 Seed Competitor on the National Circuit.ï»¿) 1977 International Kata Grand Championï»¿ 1978 Rocky Mountain Middleweight Champion 1978 International Fighting Grand Champion 1979 Fort Worth Pro-Am Kata and Fighting Grand Champion 1981 Official Karate Magazine's "Legion of Honor" membership award as "Man of the Decade.ï»¿ Shihan Reyes received his black belt at the age of 7 Â½, 2nd Degree by the age of 10, 3rd Degree by the age of 13, 4th Degree by the age of 20 and currently holds a 7th Degree. His family was the first family to all become Black Belts through Red Dragon Karate system. His brother Armando Reyes opened his karate studio in West Covina and Shihan Reyes was 13 when he began to help with the family business . At 18, he had opened Red Dragon Karate in Hacienda Heights, where the establishment is still family owned.
