The beauty of jiu jitsu is that you get maximum effect from minimal effortâ€”no matter your gender, size, or strength. By understanding the anatomy and natural motion of the body, you can easily submit, disarm, or negate a person in a self-defense situation. This is done through joint manipulation, chokes, pins, pressure points, throws, and strikes. Our style of Jiu Jitsu only differs from the classical Japanese form in that the techniques taught are geared for the modern-day era. We no longer need to worry about bamboo armor and warriors on horses. We train with tactics that are more relevant for today's self defense.
