Detail: Cima Studios is a martial arts school and training facility serving the Washington, DC metropolitan area, offering programs for children and adults. We teach several styles of martial arts, including Taekwondo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Kyokushin kai (traditional Okinawan) karate, Japanese Bujinkan, and Keysi Fighting Method. We also offer kickboxing, MMA conditioning, and self-defense programs, as well as a martial arts program for students with special needs called No Limits. While all of our martial arts classes focus on conditioning and techniques that are specific to the style of martial art that is being taught (specific strikes, kicks, blocks, forms, etc.), at Cima Studios we place equal emphasis on the more fundamental benefits of studying martial arts. While our students improve their physical conditioning, they also learn self-control, discipline, respect, and gain a tremendous amount of self-confidence. All of our instructors are passionate about the martial arts they practice; perhaps more importantly, they are even more passionate about sharing their love of martial arts with their students. Our goal is for every student to leave every class with a sense of accomplishment. We celebrate every achievement. At Cima Studios, training partners become friends, parents build a community, and we treat our students like family.
