Detail: Shihan Donald J. Spink is Head Master and Founder of East Coast Martial Arts Academies. He has been operating a Martial Art school in Quincy for almost 40 years. The original location was at 11 Revere Rd. with “United Studios of Self Defenseâ€. Mr Spink then Became one of the Master instructors of “Masters Self Defense Centers†under the instruction of Head Master James Bryant. In 1995 Mr. Spink formed East Coast Martial Arts Academies. In June 2007 E.C.M.A.A. moved to its current location at 15 School Street in Quincy Center, where he and his Son, Chief Instructor/4th degree Black Belt Matthew Spink operate the new location together. Mr. Spink’s school is the longest existing Martial Arts school on the South Shore.
