Detail: Valley Aikido is a traditional martial arts dojo founded in 1985 with roots in the valley that date back to 1969. The art of Aikido was created in the early 20th century by Morihei Ueshiba or Osensei who said “To control aggression without inflicting injury is the Art of Peace.†Valley Aikido is a member of the United States Aikido Federation through which we are affiliated with Aikido world headquarters in Japan. Practicing Aikido provides many benefits for body, mind, and spirit—from increased balance, flexibility and strength, to improved awareness, concentration, and self confidence. We welcome students age five and up and offer classes six days a week.
