Detail: Lafayette’s first Cajun Karate location was dreamed into existence with the help of the Martin family in 2003. Due to the generosity of Dr. Martin, and his wife Charlene, our first classes took place April 22, 2003 on Kaliste Saloom Rd with over 100 students. After much prayer and supplication unto the Lord, November 2006 we broke ground on Digby Avenue. Sensei and Mrs. Emilie became owners on January 1st, 2007 and the doors of Cajun Karate Lafayette’s new school were opened for business March 12, 2007 after much anticipation. Cajun Karate Lafayette is a life long dream for Sensei Micah, that became a reality due to his diligence and hard work, and his promise to God to maintain his integrity and faith, no matter what was thrown his way. God has been faithful to Sensei giving him the opportunity to teach Biblical lessons and values, as well as life lessons through Keichu-Do.
