Detail: Indianapolis Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu TM, LLC is affiliated with Master Caique (Carlos Henrique Elias) a 7th Degree Red/Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Caique has been friends with the Gracie family for over 35 years. He was taught by the Great Grand Master Helio Gracie and his sons Relson and Rickson while he was growing up in Brazil. For many years he was their top student and competitor. Caique ran his own academy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, before being asked by Helio Gracie to relocate to the United States to teach at the Gracie Academy in Torrance, CA. While being a head instructor at the Gracie Academy, Caique frequently traveled across the United States teaching at the Gracie Training Associations. Today, Caique is considered by many one of the best and most respected Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructors in the world. In May of 2001 he opened his own academy in Carson, CA, which has been a great success and keeps him very busy. Caique also enjoys traveling throughout the United States teaching Jiu-Jitsu to his many students and affiliations. He was promoted to the level of Red/Black belt by Master Rickson Gracie in March 2009.
