Located at the 1 block North of North Ave on Western. Are you new to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or ever tried other other martial arts training? If you’ve never tried martial arts, Rio Jiu Jitsu has beginner classes that teach fundamentals and self defense in a professional, safe and personal atmosphere. Experienced practitioners will be pleased to know that advanced classes and private lessons are also available. Whether you are just starting out or experienced, group classes are lead by black belt Pete Letsos. As part of the curriculum, Rio Jiu Jitsu emphasizes technique in addition to an overall approach to the application of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. To ensure that each student properly learns the techniques, each student receives individual attention and instruction during class. Furthermore, we provide our students with a well-rounded grappling foundation by providing instruction in not only Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but in aspects of Greco-Roman wrestling, Freestyle wrestling and Judo.
