Detail: Bird’s martial arts has been providing quality martial arts instruction in Atlanta for over 12 years. Instructor Brandon Byrd began his martial arts pursuit at the age of 12 by studying the art of Shorin Ryu. He went on to study other styles including Hapkido, Kyokushin Karate, Choy Lay Fut, Chinese weapons, Wing Chun, Jiujitsu, Muay Thai, American Submission Fighting, Fencing, and Filipino weapons. Mr. Byrd was invited to Atlanta in 1997 to teach at a local martial arts facility and quickly branched out to teach at the exclusive Obake Fight School. He was the instructor for Grappling classes, Kung Fu classes and Children’s classes. When Obake Fight School closed it’s doors Mr. Byrd started his own school and has been teaching in the Sandy Springs area ever since. Along with his martial arts training Mr. Byrd was a Buddhist monk and has studied meditation and philosophy for over 2 decades. Mr. Byrd relies on his 28 years of experience and a unique teaching approach to provide a high level of martial arts training to all of his students.
