I will meet each student at the level where they are functioning and will strive to increase their performance to a point of mutual satisfaction. My mission as an instructor is to encourage and motivate my students. I will help students to look beyond the circumstances of today toward the possibilities of tomorrow. I will be positive in my assessment of their abilities. I will be realistic in my expectations. I will help students to realize that they have choices and I will help them to choose wisely. This mission statement reflects my true beliefs. It helps me to be mindful of my role as an instructor and it aids me in assessing and re-evaluating my efforts.
