Detail: In Hawaiian mythology an aumakua is a family god. Traditionally it is an animal that represents and protects the family it is assigned. Our aumakua animal is the hammer head shark. This animal travels & hunts in packs (with its family). As our Jiu-Jitsu academy believes in a strong family environment, always taking care and supporting its members, we feel this is perfect representation of our value system.
