Detail: Typically, martial arts schools teach only one style of fighting. The Kodenkan Martial Arts Academy offers a variety of systems, from classical Danzan Ryu jujitsu to the modern day mixed martial art of Hiraido jujitsu. While our instructors may practice different styles, they are united in the belief that the practice of the martial arts improves the fitness, discipline and spirit of its participants. They have come together in mutual respect, with the common goal of teaching these benefits. The Kodenkan Martial Arts Academy first opened over 15 years ago. While our location has changed over the years, our mission to offer the Tucson community quality martial arts instruction remains constant. We are proud of our work, and of the students we have trained through the years.
