Detail: Mike Giles Family Karate stresses the traditional martial arts exercise form as a means of personal accomplishment, and the art of not fighting as the best form of self defense. Students learn the history of martial arts as well as its practical application in a "Peace over Power" atmosphere. You can love Bruce Lee without fearing you must BE Bruce Lee (Jackie Chan or Kim Possible) to train at our school! Every level of physical capability is encouraged with personal attention by our family of instructors. The focus of our martial arts for beginners is first and foremost, character-development . Our students learn polite greetings, how to be aware of their surroundings, bully proofing and self-confidence skills. Once these skills are obtained, they are ready to learn the Martial Arts.
