IKF welcomes you to come and observe our karate classes. Over the past 17 years, the International Karate Federation (IKF) has been recognized as the #1 Karate school in the United States according to the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) bringing home more gold medals than any other school at the national karate championships. Many of our students from Sacramento, have also traveled around the world and have become international karate champions. Like Gino Bough (World Karate Confederation "WKC" and World Karate Organization "WKO" World Champion), Reginald Estaris (Jr. Pan American gold medalist), Robert Reithmeier (World Karate Federation "WKF" Jr. World Championships Bronze medalist in Kata and World Karate Confederation "WKC" Jr. World Championships Gold in Kata and Kumite) and Chelsey Elkik (Silver medalist at the Jr. Pan American Championships). Although we are very competitive school, our main focus is to do our best so that our students can become their best. Our mission is to enrich their lives by building Confidence, Responsibility, Discipline, and Humility, which can be applied to activities and experiences outside of karate. We are very proud to say that many of our students that have come through our program were valedictorians from local high schools and several have gone to prestigious universities around the country.
